Horizon College visits RIGO Verffabriek
What do you need to make paint? We told sixteen first-year Painting students of the Horizon College more about this during their visit to RIGO Verffabriek.

After a short presentation about the various basic components of paint, they participated in a workshop titled "How do you make paint?" The paint mixing and production process was shown in miniature scale. Of course, the students were then allowed to try our products themselves. They painted using our water-based paints and our linseed oil paints to experience the brush feel. A tour through the factory completed the day.
Marcel van der Veldt -teacher/mentor- on the visit via LinkedIn: "Today, we visited RIGO Verffabriek in IJmuiden. A wonderful factory where products are often made by hand #learnedalot. I'd like to thank the entire RIGO team for a warm welcome and their help in showing these future painters how paint is made. It really was a great day!!"
The students were excited, and so were we! Are you curious about the possibilities for a visit to RIGO Verffabriek? Contact us via the "Advice or need help" button.
