Masterclass SKYN and TOPLIN
Linseed Oil and Mineral Silicate Paints
For current and future heritage
On 19 May at 20:00 online via Zoom
For monuments, linseed oil paint, which has proven itself as wood protection over and over for hundreds of years, is simply a must. There is a good reason why we still find intact, centuries-old coats of linseed oil paint in monumental buildings.
To mark the launch of the new SKYN Mineral Wall Paint line, RIGO, in collaboration with Herenhuis, will organise the Masterclass Linseed Oil and Mineral Silicate Paints.
Silicate paints (or mineral paints) are made of potassium silicate (water glass): an inorganic material that causes silicification with a mineral surface. This results in a highly vapour permeable system with a great yield and sustainable results, making it highly suitable for application in current and future heritage.
Do you want to know how to make sure your monument stays a masterpiece? Or is there anything you've always wanted to know about the maintenance of your monument? Then don't hesitate to sign up and ask us all your questions!
After the masterclass:
- You will understand the concept of a "paint system" and know how important a proper system is for your building.
- You will know how to maintain your building sustainably.
- You will know more about the use of authentic linseed oil paint and the exceptional properties of this product.
- On top of that, you will receive useful tips from our experts.
