Paint farmers sow linseed
Last weekend, our linseed was sown! We grow this to make linseed oil. This is an important material for our TOPLIN Linseed Stand Oil Paint and ROYL Oil.
Under the smoke of Schiphol, crammed between the Polderbaan and the N205, our linseed was sown by RvR Loonbedrijf. For most farmers, 5 hectares is nothing, but for us, this covers about 20% of our total annual linseed oil needs.
Things were busy this weekend on the Dutch fields. Crops were sown en masse, because rain was on the way, and the little seeds love this.
