Applied product:
EvA Recycled wall paint
The challenge:
The Broedmachine did not want standard wall paint, but made the conscious choice for a more sustainable option. They had a large surface that needed to be treated, so spray application was the preferred solution. On top of that, the dark substrate had to be properly covered in a single coat of RAL 9010.
Substrate:
Existing latex on mineral substrate.
The solution:
The SKYN Recycled Wall Paint ideally suited the wishes of the Broedmachine. This paint is made of professional wall paint residue, which is purified and enhanced through a smart procedure. A double-edged sustainable choice, as old residue is kept from the waste container and no new paint needs to be made. The professional-quality paint is highly suitable for spray application and offers excellent opacity.
The result:
Despite the relatively high temperature during the spraying process, the entire operation was performed without any issues. A single spray coat was all that was needed for a lovely, full, seamless and sufficiently opaque coat of paint. The effect on the room after all the old, dark latex was recoated with SKYN EVA Recycled Wall Paint was absolutely staggering.
