The challenge
The client wanted to create a unique design for the stage allowing the musicians to be highlighted perfectly. as if they were floating in the space.
The solution
To do so, a circular floor made of ash wood was placed on the stage, surrounded by white walls.
The circular ash-wood stage measuring 50 m2 was lacquered in white using STEP Colour Primer and then finished with STEP Parquet Lacquer 2K Satin. The acoustics and the light can be adjusted through the rotatable wall panels. That way, the illusion can be created that the stage is floating in mid air. Other interior woodwork and floors in Gasthuis Leeuwenbergh are made of smoked oak and were protected using ROYL OIL 2K.
The end result
All in all, this project yielded an exceptional result thanks to the various materials, colours and finishes. The entire property has been beautifully renovated and exudes an exceptional atmosphere. Thanks to the creative purpose of the building, this is a continuous, dynamic project for this parquet installer.
