SKYLT Intensive Cleaner

As time goes by, you may need to maintain your SKYLT-finished floor. SKYLT Intensive Cleaner #9150 is suitable for periodic thorough cleaning of heavily soiled floor and for degreasing a floor prior to recoating with a SKYLT lacquer of applying a new SKYLT Polish layer.

Before recoating or applying a new layer of SKYLT Polish, always treat the varnished floor with SKYLT Intensive Cleaner #9150.

FOR THE END USER:

Use SKYLT Intensive Cleaner #9150 once or twice a year, depending on the traffic on the floor.
To restore the appearance of a SKYLT-finished floor, apply a layer of SKYLT Polish #9145 Ultramat.
Apply 1 or 2 new layers of lacquer in good time - certainly before the lacquer layer has completely worn through.
Cork, vinyl, linoleum and concrete-look floors cannot be sanded: always first thoroughly clean with SKYLT Intensive Cleaner #9150 before applying a new layer of SKYLT lacquer.

What water temperature is best?: Both cold and warm water can be used for intensive cleaning. The water temperature does not affect the product's effectiveness or the strength of the cleaning. Cold water is sufficient. If you have warm water available and prefer to work with it, you may do so, but it is not necessary.
Should I choose a mopping or scrubbing cleaning with SKYLT/STEP Intensive Cleaner?: SKYLT/STEP Intensive Cleaner is a powerful deep cleaner and does more than superficial cleaning. Unlike SKYLT Conditioner/STEP Mild Cleaner, SKYLT/STEP Intensive Cleaner can remove layers of polish and deeply ingrained dirt.
The method of intensive cleaning determines the extent to which this happens. Mopping only is suitable for light to moderate ingrained dirt; Scrubbing with a nylon (hand)brush or a scrubbing machine equipped with a red or blue pad is recommended for heavily soiled floors. Do not use a coarser pad or a brush that is too hard to prevent scratches.
