SKYLT Original

Invisible lacquer

Our lacquer production craftsmen looked for a way to retain the untreated appearance of substrates. The result of their quest is SKYLT. With SKYLT, wood stays purely wood. SKYLT protects the original and emphasises the original appearance.

FOR THE USER:

  • 2-component Polyurethane Parquet Lacquer.
  • SKYLT Original can be directly applied to sanded Oak (or other light wood types). You can apply a SKYLT Primer first to make seamless application easier.
  • SYSTEM:

- 3 layers of SKYLT Original or 1 layer of SKYLT Primer and 2 layers of SKYLT Original.

- When using SKYLT Extra Topcoat 2K as toplayer: 2 layers of SKYLT Original and 1 layer of SKYLT Extra Topcoat 2K or 1 layer of SKYLT Primer, 1 layer of SKYLT Original and 1 layer of SKYLT Extra Topcoat 2K. 

  • On dark substrates, use SKYLT Titanium.
  • Can be combined with SKYLT Recoatable Colour Oil 2K.
  • Drying time 3-4 hours between the various coats. If necessary, you can sand with p120 sandpaper before the final coat.

FOR THE END USER:

  • Retains the natural appearance of newly sanded wood. You won't see the coat of lacquer.
  • Beautifully natural.
  • Low-maintenance: mopping with a SKYLT conditioner will suffice.
  • Can be combined with a SKYLT Recoatable Colour Oil 2K for the appearance of an oiled floor with the ease of a parquet lacquer.
  • Suitable for underfloor heating.
