Work more easily with too fast drying and/or large surfaces with the Open Time Extender #0090 Additive. The additive delays the drying and improves the flow of water-based parquet lacquers, reducing the risk of visible overlaps. Just add, stir, and ready to use!

Use the Open Time Extender #0090 Additive when coating large surfaces or in circumstances where the varnish will dry faster than desired. Thing about varnishing:
Especially in combination, these are circumstances where the water from the varnish has completely evaporated before the varnish has been able to flow properly.
When coating large surfaces, it often takes longer to make wet-on-wet connections. By using the Open Time Extender, the varnish layers have more time to flow into each other.
It’s smart to look at varnish and drying conditions at least two days in advance. This gives time and opportunity to take measures, for example:
Adjust the work schedule if necessary. Even on a very hot summer day, the room will still be nice and cool at seven in the morning.
If one of the (processing) conditions is outside the specified bandwidth or due to a combination of drying conditions which are too favourable. The Open Time Extender, for example, cannot absorb (too) fast evaporation that takes place on a floor that has been heated all day by bright sunlight.
Checking the varnish and drying conditions should be part of the whole work process. Discuss them at the quotation stage and record the agreements in your quotation and order confirmation. During the execution. Do not wait with the check until you have to start varnishing. Then you are often too late to improve the conditions.
Start the check 48 hours before starting applying the varnish. This gives all involved parties time and opportunity to take measures.
In many cases, you will already be on location, because the wood still needs to be placed or sanded.
