The function
Reporting to the Group's Communication, Digital Marketing and Trade Manager, you are based locally at Rigo Verffabriek headquarters in IJmuiden – THE NETHERLANDS.

You oversee communication and trade activation in the BENELUX Business Unit, within the group's communication & trade team, based in Saint-Priest – FRANCE, of which you are a team member. As such, you participate, with the team, in the marketing budget construction, in the internal and external communication strategy incl. social media and in the sales action development.

In addition, you design locally for each brand the various print and digital communication media (press announcements, landing page, blogging, internal and customer newsletters, brochures, guides, ...), the various print and digital assets for trade actions in connection with the strategy and inputs of the team manager.

The scope of your tasks

Communication strategy (online & offline)

  • Together with the communication team, build the group’s marketing and communication budget and strategy and from there, propose with the team leader support, a brand marketing and communication strategy and budget. Ensures operational implementation and monitoring of strategy and budget with the team leader.
  • Responsible with the team leader support for guarding, maintaining and developing the corporate identity of and the accompanying manual.
  • Responsible for the website. Look and feel, content, technical ‘back’ end, development, improvements.
  • Participate in the development of the media group plan and then proposes the communication plan.
  • Propose and monitors communication actions under his/her responsibility.
  • Ensure the relationship with local communication providers.
  • Create content (incl. photos, videos) to enrich all communication media (online, offline).
  • Manage the quarterly communication plan of the paint shop with proposals adapted to current events and with the contribution of the store manager

Social Media Strategy

  • Relay the main contents from Blanchon Group.
  • Participate in the group's social media strategy and in connection with the commercial action plan and the marketing product plan.
  • Build each quarter editorial plan integrating the Blanchon Group methodology.
  • Adapt content to the use and target of each network

Trade marketing strategy

  • Manage the implementation of national shows: supplier relations/ negotiations, manage the stand design, logistics and the customer journey. Control and monitor the associated budget.
  • Adapt choice support tools to user needs throughout the customer journey for each type of brand. Digital technologies monitoring to improve and increase the customer experience.
  • Contribute with Key account managers to propose trade marketing value offers and tools by customer typology and according to customer news: new products launch supports and commercial operations supports (color fans, print, digital, etc.).

The profile
To be able to fulfill this position well, you have

  • A higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level.
  • You speak English well in addition to Dutch and professional French.

In addition, you are creative, think in terms of opportunities and possibilities and are a result-oriented worker. You are also communicative, driven and autonomous, social and have great organizational skills to fulfill this position, in relation to the central Marketing and Communications team in France, for the Group.

Your permanent place of employment is IJmuiden, but you do have a willingness to travel to visit the sister companies in the Benelux and France on a regular basis.
