Linseed oil has a long history in traditional painting. TOPLIN builds on this tradition. TOPLIN AQUA Linoleic-Rich Paint for Interior is inspired by the best characteristics of linseed oil and further developed with the benefits of modern water-based paint technology. The new formulation retains the familiar natural appearance of TOPLIN Aqua, while offering faster drying and quicker recoating times. In this way, tradition and modern paint technology come together in a coating that meets the requirements of today’s painting projects, while respecting the heritage of tomorrow.

It is best to put the brushes in raw linseed oil or clean them with warm water and green soap.

The pre-lacquer is the paint layer that is applied between the primer and the topcoat layer. The pre-lacquer has a higher gloss level than the primer and ensures therefore optimum gloss build-up.

Ideal system composition
For the ideal system composition and gloss level, you could opt for a pre-lacquer. In that case, you need to first treat the substrate with TOPLIN Aqua Primer followed by a coat of TOPLIN Aqua Pre-Lacquer. You can then apply a lacquer with the desired gloss finish.
